Eastleigh MP visits local companies ahead of Small Business Saturday

Earlier this week, she also made a speech in the House of Commons, urging the Government to do more to support local small businesses and early years providers including Crestwood Pre-School. Forest Footsteps Childcare, and the YMCA Eastleigh Nursery and Community Centre.

Liberal Democrat MP for Eastleigh, Liz Jarvis said:
“Local businesses like Bay Leaves Larder are the backbone of our community and provide a great service to people here in Chandler’s Ford. We should be doing all we can to support them.

“It is also why it is so important that the government rethinks and scraps their National Insurance hike on our local small businesses.

“After years of Conservative economic vandalism, businesses here in Eastleigh have been hammered with increased costs and less support. This urgently needs to change and I will be pushing the government every step of the way to ensure it does.”
